Hello!
My fiance and I are headed to FI for the first time ever this Saturday - super excited!! We are bringing along our 2 year old Cairn
Terrier. We are staying at Margarita Villas in Kismet, but are hoping to explore a little bit of the Island since we have never been. We
plan to arrive around 10a Saturday morning, but check in isn't until 5p. We were thinking we might go check out the Sunken Forest
and then catch a ferry back to the Kismet area to see the light house. Okay idea? Any other suggestions for things to see during the
day while we have the dog all day and no where to put our book bags? Also, can you let me know in general where dogs are and are
not allowed? I did a little research and it looks like they aren't allowed on any beaches, but it mentions the bayside beach at the Fire
Island Lighthouse, Sailors Haven, Talisman/Barrett Beach, and Watch Hill should be okay for dogs. Any guidance on this??
